Gertrude Mizzi is a licenced Speech & Language Pathologist who has been practicing for 20 years in the field. She has worked with individuals of all ages ranging from newborn to the elderly with a variety of challenges pertaining to speech, language, and communication. Gertrude has gained a wealth of experience through practising in a variety of settings such as nurseries, kindergarten and primary schools, and community clinics. Gertrude has a special interest in primary prevention and intervention of speech and language difficulties in children of up to 5 years of age.
The full involvement of parents in their child's speech and language journey is key from an early stage, to foster their child's development as best they can from the start. Gertrude, together with colleagues, has developed early intervention programmes, for both parents and their children to foster early communication skills through play.
Gertrude loves nothing more than to spend time with her family in the great outdoors.

- Click on the booking tab on the right and choose an appointment that suits you. An email with the details of your booked service (including the Google Meet link in the case of online consultations) will be sent.
- You will be taken toĀ CHECKOUT PAGE where you can settle the fee securely via Credit/Debit Card or Paypal. An email will be sent confirming payment. We will send you email/SMS reminders prior to your appointment.
- When it's time for your online consultation, click on the Google Meet link to start the meeting. For home-based sessions, your midwife will meet you at the agreed time. For sessions at the MyMama hub, please be sure to arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment.
